Ladies Day on the Hill, Tennessee Capitol

We had our Club’s largest group attend of sixteen ladies for the Tennessee Federation or Republican Women’s Ladies Day on the Hill Event. The theme was DISCO as we celebrated 70 years as a Federation!! The keynote speaker was United States, Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn.

***The Shelby County Republican Women’s Club was honored to have Tennessee State Senator representing District 31, Brent Taylor join one of our tables with our members. He represents our interests very well in our area!! We were also honored by Attorney General of Tennessee, Jonathan Skrmetti to include Chief of Staff, Chris Tutor at another of our tables since he, himself, was invited at the event leader table. What a delight! LASTLY, and not least, we received word Tennessee Representative John Rose and his wife, Chelsea, would be attending and wanted to meet our members. Tennessee Rep. John Rose represents the state’s 6th Congressional District and is running for Tennessee Governor in 2026. It was a delight to meet them both and have him join us for lunch as well. We love our leaders and are thankful for the time they spent with us.***

Our ladies also had an opportunity to ride together, share rooms with one another and have dinner the night before. Getting to know one another, laugh, poke fun and enjoy each other was special fun!
