Shelby County Republican Convention

Don't miss the largest republican convention in the state of Tennessee!

Register NOW! Every registered Republican needs to be in attendance for the every two-year vote for our local Shelby County Republican Party. BEFORE you can vote, you MUST pre-register. Do not delay in registering because it takes time to vet the Qualified Participants.

DETAILS:

  • January 25, 2025 - Doors open 11:00am and close at 11:00am. ANOTHER CHANGE SHOWS YOU MUST BE IN LINE BY 11:00am to enter. Plan on being there no later than 10:45am because you will not be allowed inside otherwise. Bring snacks/drinks because this could last for hours listening to those running.

  • CHANGE of venue - NEW HOPE CHRISTIAN CHURCH IN BARTLETT, 3300 Kirby Whitten Road, Bartlett..

  • There are TWO slates running, so please visit each link below and educate yourself on those running!

  • Qualified Participant - If you have not voted in the last 3 of 4 republican primaries (August 2020, August 2022, March 2024, August 2024), but would like to be a Qualified Participant and would like to still vote in convention, you can submit the Qualified Consideration Form for consideration to the "Contest & Credentials Committee" by bringing the completed form with you to the RPSC Convention and your proof of activities. You can also reach out to them and email too. Be aware... this does NOT mean you are qualified until you have been vetted by the Credentials Committee. REGISTER and they will inform you

  • If you are told you do not qualify,, go to the Election Commission off of Nixon Drive and have them print your voter history and bring it along with any other proof of your involvement within the party.

    • Questions about the status of your qualification to vote in the reorganization can be directed to the Contest and Credentials Committee Chair Jack Turner at johnbturnerjr@gmail.com.

In order to qualify to vote, you must have voted Republican in three out of the last four statewide Republican primaries. The Contest and Credentials Committee is not able to verify any out-of-state voting records, so if you have moved to Shelby County since 2020, you may need to provide a physical copy of your voting record from your previous county/state in order to qualify.

If the Contest and Credentials Committee cannot confirm that you have a 3/4

Republican voting history via our online database or any documentation you provide proving your voting history from a previous county/state, you will not be allowed to vote.

      Thank you,

      TNGOP

  • We have provided the Supplemental Rules and the Draft of Rule E (which was adopted), so you can read, print and be prepared for the Convention.
